| Description | This course will focus on the utilization of effective communication tools when dealing with persons in crisis. The helping relationship will be explored in relation to individuals in crisis along the health illness continuum. Students will have the opportunity to visit community services and present how they relate to prehospital care practices. This interactive course will provide opportunity for the student to role play scenarios requiring good therapeutic communication skills |
