| Description | Students taking this course are to become future communications professionals. With this in mind, the students will be introduced to the communications environment and will learn to use the many tools available to them systematically and intelligently. They will also be made aware of the appropriate communications etiquette or code of conduct expected within the industry and beyond. They will gain a working knowledge of Mac OS as it applies to communications. The course will help students understand and use various tools, including smartphone videography, video editing, DSLR photography, image editing, and audio production and post-production. They will learn practical research and presentation techniques and how to communicate effectively as a media professional. |
