| Description | This course is designed to aid the student in keeping them self safe in the work environment. Students will also learn about the various laws that govern the work place and their rights and responsibilities as a worker in such environment. Students will be able to demonstrate how to correctly use various types of precision and non-precision tools. Student will be taught about the reason for different types of bearings and seals. Students will be able to carry out recommended diagnostics and repairs procedure on bearings and seals. Students will demonstrate the principles and purpose of heating and cutting tools. Students will be able to explain and identify the different types of Oxy – fuel heating and cutting equipment and perform basic heating and cutting procedures following recommended guideline. |
