Description

This course is designed for registered practical nurses who are transitioning to registered nurses. Learners will analyze the role of Change Theory and the Three-Factor Framework in expanding the registered nurse's scope of accountability. By the end of the course, students will be able to evaluate the registered nurse's experience working in a complex and changing healthcare system, as well as the impact of different stressors on the registered nurse and how to manage them. Students will learn to enhance clinical decision-making skills and self-care strategies through interactive, simulation, and case-based learning, and to apply the knowledge gained in this course to real-world scenarios.
