Description | This course is the study of the aggregate level of economic activity and its impact on the transportation industry. Inflation, unemployment, business cycles, economic growth, money and banking, international trade with emphasis on North/South trading routes, foreign exchange and the role of government are examined. You will be equipped with the necessary tools to make sound, economic decisions affecting the industry. The role and contribution of the transportation industry in developing economic policy will also be examined.
