| Description | This course introduces you to the evolution of transportation organizations and the significant opportunity for improvement in traditional logistics departments and sub-areas of the industry. Organ-izational change is the principal driver in developing an effective transportation organization and creating an environment for continuous improvement. The course examines the features of an effective organization, organizational development and develops a model to measure organizational effectiveness. You will use the knowledge gained through completion of TRAN-901, Introduction to Logistics and TRAN-902, Transportation Systems to analyze current organizations and develop a strategy for redesign to create a leading edge organizational model.
