| Description | This theory-based course prepares the uncertified tradesperson to write the Ontario Truck and Coach Technician Certificate of Qualification exam. Using the apprenticeship curriculum as a guideline, you will review diesel engines, brakes, suspension and steering, electrical/electronics, fuel systems, geartrains and workplace practices and procedures with emphasis on basic theory and correct use of language/terminology. This is strictly a preparatory course. It is not a replacement for the Ministry of Education and Training-approved Truck and Coach Apprenticeship program. |
