| Description | This course will examine components required to design, test, and build an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Students will be given the opportunity to construct UAV within the lab environment. Topics which will be discussed include the airframe, propulsion systems, the flight control computer or system, precision navigation system, location sensor, sense and avoid system, high altitude sensor, payload, environmental sensors, insurance, and regulation. |
