| Description | This course focuses on the application of a underwater hydro massage. Using a wand, students will learn the full body underwater massage routine. There will be a focus on benefits, anatomical landmarks, contraindications, techniques and procedure. Students will be able to incorporate the use of water, pressure and temperature, the therapeutic effects of hydrotherapy and the use of the wand to offer a full body underwater hydro massage. This course highlights the structure and function of the hydrotherapy tub and incorporates training concerning appropriate hygiene and maintenance.
