| Description | This course outlines the characteristics of raw water and waste water, how water supply systems work, sources of supply, methods of treatment, alternative sources of water and methods of distribution. The course continues with the disposal of wastewater, the collection system, the various methods of sewage treatment including the types of equipment used. Visits will be paid to water and sewage treatment plants. An introduction to storm water management will be included. |
