| Description | This course will introduce students to the youth justice system in Canada. This course will also examine the role of youth culture and societal responses to youth crime in Canada. Students will attain an understanding of how the Youth Criminal Justice Act responds to specific offender groups such as street youth, drug abusers, adolescent prostitutes, Aboriginal offenders and youth gang members. |
