Remember: Centennial campuses are smoke-free and vape-free
This is a friendly reminder that Centennial College does not permit smoking or vaping on our properties. Our College is committed to promoting a healthy working, learning and teaching environment, which is integral to the personal, professional and academic growth of students, faculty, staff and visitors. We’ve listed some Do’s and Do not’s below, and links to our policies:
Do:
• Go to secure, well-lit areas on city property
• Use city sidewalks that border our campuses
• Safely put out cigarette butts, burning remnants
• Stand nine meters or more from College entrances
• Read our Smoke-Free Policy
Do not:
• Litter on city or College property
• Smoke where ashes are a fire hazard (dry grass, shrubs, mulch, etc.)
• Use poorly lit or unsafe areas at night
• Walk on uneven surfaces
