Hi there! My name is Priscilla. I am in my second year of the RPN program at Centennial College - Morningside, about to enter my third semester this fall. I currently work at Michael Garron Hospital as an Extern Clinical Nurse in the Pre and Post Anesthesia Care Unit, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and witnessing the resilience of the human spirit every day. I love watching sci-fi movies and documentaries. I’m a member of adult choir and lector at St. Lawrence Martyr Church.
Fun Fact
When I was a toddler, my mom called me a “tiny treasure hunter” because I used to hide and collect my cousins’ or playmates’ dolls and stash them under my pillow or in my drawer. This was part of my curiosity and my desire to create my own little world.
What I Hope To Achieve With Centennial Toastmasters This Year As VP Membership
This role is vital for the growth and sustainability of the club, so I hope to attract new members especially diverse individuals eager to develop their communication and leadership skills; bring fresh outlooks and energy to the group; and coordinate orientation sessions for new members and alumni, while maintaining accurate membership records. Personally, I hope to meet new people from diverse backgrounds, leading to lasting connections and friendships. I aim to further hone my communication skills, which are essential both in nursing and in life. I hope to share my journey, learn from others, and grow together with a community of like-minded individuals.
