Yes, you can attend more than one session. You can sign up to take part in a session specifically for your group (i.e., Learner, faculty, staff) as well as a session for a group you identify with (i.e., People with Disabilities, etc.). However, to ensure maximum participation from the Centennial community, we ask that you only sign up for one session of the same type.
Many session groups offer a virtual option. If you are unable to attend in person, we ask that you sign up for a virtual session. Please note that in-person attendance is required for sessions taking place on campus.
Yes, of course. You may register for sessions at your home campus or other campuses.
Participating in a SPET session gives you the opportunity to engage in the strategic planning process and influence Centennial’s future. By sharing your unique perspective on the College’s direction and envisioning an enhanced campus experience, you can help ensure that your voice is heard and that the plan reflects the diverse needs of the College community.
Your involvement also demonstrates your commitment to the institution's success.
Sessions are expected to last up to 90 minutes (about 1-½ hours).
As an attendee, you are expected to actively participate in discussions, share your perspectives and experiences, and collaborate with others to explore ideas. Please come prepared to share your thoughts on the prompts provided to you during the session and to listen to and respect the viewpoints of other participants.
Registration closes at noon on Friday, September 13. The sessions have limited capacity, therefore you’re encouraged to register early to avoid disappointment.
Please notify us as soon as possible by emailing the Strategic Planning Office at spo@centennialcollege.ca. Be sure to include the details of the session you registered for in your email.
For accommodation and accessibility inquiries, please contact SPO@centennialcollege.ca as early as possible to ensure we can make the necessary arrangements for your comfort and accessibility.
No, all sessions are private, and your comments will not be attributed to you or any single participant in the output.
You are expected to arrive on time and take part in the session for its full duration. You must register in advance in order to attend.
The Strategic Planning Office will manage the outputs from these sessions and incorporate them into the ongoing 2025-2030 strategic planning process. The outputs will be shared with bodies integral to the strategic planning process.
