Manjeet Kang

With over 15 years of dedicated service in higher education, Manjeet Kang plays a vital role in building and nurturing long-term partnerships that create meaningful career pathways for students and graduates as Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Centennial College.

Her passion for this work is deeply personal. Beginning her journey at Centennial as an international student, Manjeet understands firsthand the challenges of navigating a new environment and breaking into the workforce. This lived experience has shaped her commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for others, so they too can build successful and fulfilling careers.

In her current role, Manjeet has been instrumental in the creation and launch of Solv., a dedicated service at Centennial that helps industry and community partners connect with the College through a single point of contact. Additionally, she orchestrated key initiatives such as the Partnership Success Stories campaign, which highlights the real-world impact of Centennial’s collaborations and inspires future partnerships across industries. Further demonstrating her vision for connection and community, Manjeet also supervised the creation of Centennial’s inaugural Partner Appreciation Event and Awards. This milestone event not only elevated the College’s partnerships but also fostered a stronger sense of belonging and collaboration among Centennial’s diverse network of supporters.

Manjeet's community contributions are similarly far-reaching. She has co-led Sikh Heritage Month celebrations at the College, increasing visibility and cultural awareness for Sikh students and staff. She also designed and led a Global Citizenship and Equity Learning Experience to India, where students worked with a not-for-profit organization focused on supporting women who survived domestic violence.

Deeply committed to making her community more inclusive, equitable and connected, Manjeet actively supports programs focused on empowering women and fostering cultural understanding. In addition, Manjeet serves on various external committees such as the Scarborough Business Association, Scarborough Clusters, and the Downsview Aerospace Innovation and Research (DAIR) Hub.

Known for her mentorship and generosity of spirit, Manjeet remains deeply committed to ensuring that all students and graduates have access to life-changing opportunities.
