Jaime Wong was appointed Governor in 2026. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Maddison Wong Investments, where he oversees investments in technology startups and real estate while advising high-growth software companies.
Previously, Jaime was the Co-founder and CEO of MDBilling.ca, Canada’s leading medical billing software and service provider. Before his entrepreneurial journey, Jaime spent over 15 years in business development and technology leadership roles at IBM and other tech firms, specializing in enterprise IT.
Jaime holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, York University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto. He is a patent author in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology and actively contributes to not-for-profit boards. He was the recipient of the York University Excellent in Entrepreneurship Award. Jamie is a member of the Board’s Learning and Employment Committee.
