It is not your fault

If you have experienced sexual violence and/or sexual misconduct, please understand that it is not your fault. You will be believed, you have options, and you are not alone. Learn about your options and how to get support here.

If you have experienced sexual violence or sexual misconduct:

1. Go to a place where you feel safe, such as your home, a family member’s place, or a friend’s.

  • If you are on campus, go to any College office (e.g., library, information desk, etc)
  • If you live in Residence, go to a trusted friend or your Residence Advisor.

2. If you feel as though you are in physical danger, contact the Emergency Management and Public Safety Department on campus:

  • Emergency Help Line - 416-439-4357 (HELP)
  • Emergency Extension - 416-289-5000, ext. 52020
  • Pick up any Yellow Campus Emergency Phone
  • Or - Call 911

3. Get medical attention as needed

  • Go to your local hospital emergency room.
