Marianne is a seasoned brand, marketing, and communications professional with 20+ years of experience across the financial, consultancy, media, and government sectors. She brings strategic brand and marketing vision, creativity, curiosity, and a constant desire to innovate. In her current role as Assistant Vice-President, Global Brand and Marketing at Sun Life, she leverages a multi-disciplinary lens and global work experience to deliver measurable results in defining global brand strategies, leading integrated marketing planning, developing compelling advertising campaigns, driving effective digital marketing, and negotiating impactful sponsorships and philanthropic initiatives. Prior to being in Marketing, Marianne’s career started in Corporate Communications where she spent almost a decade working with senior leaders supporting a wide range of public relations and communications initiatives. Marianne holds a bachelor in Journalism from Carleton University and a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on International Business from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia.
