Artwork Title: A train heading for hope

Artist Statement
It was an ordinary morning. I was taking the Go train to downtown Toronto. The plastic partition between the seats reminded me of the past two years of the pandemic. We were required to wear masks and keep our distance from each other. We need to be healed mentally after the depressing two years, and the train offers convenience for us to reconnect with friends regardless of how far we live. While I was sitting on the train, I saw the colorful Autumn leaves outside the window, which made me feel appreciative of the present. No matter how stressed or overburdened we are, we should never forget to look for beauty within our lives.
