Artist Statement
“Let it Go” is a message of acceptance.
My image of the small child shows fear and anxiety. Her tight clothing could express “conceal, don’t let them know.”
As a community we must encourage those with mental health issues to “Let it Go”, be their authentic selves and have no fear of being exposed. In turn we must “ Let it Go”, accept differences, and reach out to those who need support. Letting go is one of the greatest kinds of love.
