What Is a Signature Pathway?

A Signature Pathway is a purposefully route that allows students to start at college and graduate from university, obtaining two credentials, through a single, planned academic journey.

Unlike standard transfer agreements, Signature Pathways are:

  • Designed in advance, with courses aligned from the start
  • Built with coordinated curriculum, admissions, and advising
  • Structured to support a clear, predictable transition from college to university

When you are admitted, you receive:

  • an offer of admission to Centennial College for the diploma program, and
  • an offer of admission from the partner university, subject to meeting clearly defined academic conditions

Why Choose a Signature Pathway?

Two credentials. No extra time.

Earn a Centennial credential and a university degree at the partner university - with no additional courses or bridging semesters.

One continuous academic plan.

Complete your first credential at Centennial, then move directly into advanced standing at the partner university. Every course counts toward graduating with both credentials.

Joint offer from the start.

Receive an offer of admission to Centennial and a conditional offer from the partner university at the same time — no re‑applying, no extra application fees, and clear academic requirements from day one.

An accessible pathway to a degree.

Reduce upfront costs by starting at college and progress to the degree through your academic performance, with advising and coordinated support from Centennial and Trent throughout your journey.
