2025 Fall Semester Fire Alarm Drills

We would like to inform you that the 2025 Fall Semester fire alarm drills will take place from November 25 to 27. We ask that all faculty, administrative, and support staff who are on campus take part in the drills and support student participation.

Prior to the drills, please:

1. Read the fire emergency procedures, and
2. Listen to the Stage One (Alert) and Stage Two (Evacuation) alarms

*Emergency Management is available to deliver, upon request, training sessions for staff at our satellite locations.

On campus during the drills?

• Upon hear the Stage One alarm, save your work, and note your closest exit routes – this is a critical component that will help guide your response during a real emergency.
• Upon hearing the Stage Two alarm, exit safely and head to the closest Area of Assembly.
• In the case of a real emergency, those needing assistance will proceed to the nearest ramped exit or Area of Rescue.
• Wait for the all-clear before returning to the building.

We kindly ask for your full cooperation during these exercises. Your participation will contribute to our collective ability to respond effectively to any potential emergencies.
