Ten Centennial College students have been named recipients of 2026 Schulich Builders: Scholarships for Skilled Trades.
Now in its fourth year, Schulich Builders: Scholarships for Skilled Trades, an initiative of The Schulich Foundation, awards scholarships to 120 students in Canada enrolled in full-time certificate and diploma programs at participating colleges and in in-demand skilled trades. The goal is to encourage more students to enter lucrative careers in trades where more skilled workers are needed.
Each year, 10 recipients per participating college are selected from a pool of candidates from across Canada. The scholarships are valued at $40,000 for a two-year diploma program and $20,000 for a one-year certificate program, designed to cover tuition, living expenses and tools.

2026 Centennial College Schulich Builders: Scholarships for Skilled Trades recipients
- Jaymeson Brown is a recipient of the $20,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship. A graduate of Huron Heights Secondary School in Keswick, Brown will be entering the Truck and Coach Technician Volvo/Mack apprenticeship program through the School of Apprenticeships this fall.
- Ralph Gopengco is a recipient of the $20,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship. A graduate of Cedarbrae Collegiate Institute in Scarborough, Gopengco will be entering the Electrical Techniques program at the School of Engineering Technology this fall.
- Davin Jotham-Park is a recipient of the $20,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship. A former employee of Trail Hub LTD in Ajax, Jotham-Park will be entering the Truck and Coach Technician ATS apprenticeship program this fall.
- Said Salad Farah is a recipient of the $20,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship. A former employee of ASP Security in Brampton, Salad Farah is entering the Truck and Coach Technician ATS apprenticeship program this fall.
- Dominic Sumra is a recipient of the $20,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship. A graduate of Emery Collegiate Institute in North York, Sumra will be entering the Electrical Techniques program at the School of Engineering Technology this fall.
- Cierra Humphries is a recipient of the $40,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship. A graduate of Central Peel Secondary School in Brampton, Humphries will be entering the Automotive Motive Power Technician program at the School of Motive Power and Trades this fall.
- Richard Dizaji is a recipient of the $40,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship. A graduate of Yorkdale Adult Learning Centre, Dizaji will be entering the Aircraft Maintenance Aviation Technician program at the School of Aviation this fall.
- Mayjanan Selvakumar is a recipient of the $40,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship. A graduate of Bear Creek Secondary School in Alliston, Selvakumar will be entering the Aircraft Maintenance Aviation Technician program at the School of Aviation this fall.
- Tyler Huynh is a recipient of the $40,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship. A graduate of St. Francis Xavier Secondary School in Mississauga, Huynh will be entering the Truck and Coach Technician program at the School of Motive Power and Trades this fall.
- Muhammad Saeed is a recipient of the $40,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship. A graduate of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School in Mississauga, Saeed will be entering the Automotive Service Technician Co-op partnered with TADA and FCA at the School of Motive Power and Trades this fall.
