| Description | This combined theory and practical lab provides the pharmacy technician student with exposure to advanced sterile compounding. Students will learn and practice the various techniques necessary in product manipulation and preparation of hazardous drug products and narcotic drug products and devices according to the guidelines established by The National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA). Opportunities will be provided for the development of proficiency through peer evaluations, tests, OSPE preparation and sterile compounding practical’s using physician orders and manufacturing worksheets as well as a continual emphasis on self-reflection.
