| Description | In this course, students will design, create, and build their own project with a focus on project management in a research and development context. All aspects of the project management function are introduced with emphasis on the importance of project definition, project scope management, cost justification, work breakdown structure, managing the project, and project management processes and tools. Students will work in groups of two to provide electrical and control solutions for applications designed by the groups themselves. Milestones are set to encourage students toward refining their design through several stages from the initial concept to completed prototype solution.
