| Description | This course provides students the knowledge of distribution systems and distributed energy resources in power grids. Common design methods of distribution networks, protection and control will be reviewed. Methods of fault calculations and load calculations as well as different types of protective relays will be discussed. Students will be working with ETAP electrical design software for short circuit and power flow analysis. |
