| Description | This course introduces the student to computer system technology using the IBM PC compatible computer. This course contains a very high lab content that includes technical concepts and terminology of the PC's internal and external components and operating systems. The students are exposed to a full range of topics that focuses on structure, management, installation, set-up, analysis, customization and the use of various utilities to enhance the performance of the system.
Upon successful completion, the student can apply the acquired knowledge towards completing the "A Plus Certification" accreditation from the Computing Technology Industry Association (comptia.org).
