The Interactive Media Management students and their faculty lead were just in Strasbourg, France a couple days ago. Welcome home! They participated in the Symposium on Usability and Design, organized by the University of Strasbourg in collaboration with Louisiana Tech University. Students not only had the opportunity to attend the symposium and hear from usability experts, but also connected with industry attendees. Next up, the International Development Students are heading to the City of Knowledge, Panama. The group will visit several UN agencies, INGOs, and Panamanian NGOs and NPOs working on global and local development issues such as poverty, forced migration, environment, gender equality, and Indigenous rights. #CentennialSCE #geflipPanama24
Following them is a diverse group of students from Tourism and Hospitality, Community Development, and Global Business Management. Recognized for their outstanding work in the Global Capstone Case Competition, they are off to Pedro Garcia to implement their ideas in the real world and learn about Sustainable Tourism, Community Development, and NGO and entrepreneurial leaders driving transformative economic changes in the Puerto Plata region. #CentennialSCE #geflipDR24
Finally, the last group of marketing and advertising students, winners of the Global Capstone Pitch Competition, are heading to Lithuania. Led by their faculty, they will work on the ground to find solutions to enable Hemp and CBD brands to effectively reach customers through digital channels and social media within the confines of a tightly regulated market. #CentennialSCE #geflipLithuania24
