This year’s Student Volunteer Appreciation Awards will take place on March 23, 2026 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Progress Campus Event Centre.

Students can be nominated for the following awards
Outstanding Returning Student Volunteer
Sponsored by Student Community and Engagement, this award recognizes an outstanding engaged Centennial student who demonstrates exemplary campus and/or Centennial community involvement. This award is open to a returning (semester 2 or higher) full-time Centennial College student who has gone above and beyond in their service-based volunteer role.

Outstanding Graduating Student Volunteer
Sponsored by Office of Development and Alumni Engagement, this award recognizes an outstanding engaged graduating Centennial student who demonstrates exemplary campus and/or Centennial community involvement. This is to be awarded to a full-time Centennial College student graduating in June 2026 (S25, F25, W26). This awarded student has gone above and beyond in their service-based role.

Outstanding Student Leadership Award
Sponsored by Career Services and Cooperative Education, this award recognizes a student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, positive impact on others, and substantive impact on the Centennial College community. They have displayed various acts of leadership to create social change and support others.
