Priscila Rojas is a proud Centennial College graduate, dedicated student leader, and passionate advocate for community connection and belonging. As a member of the Alumni Advisory Committee, Priscila brings energy, optimism, and a deep commitment to strengthening the alumni experience for graduates across generations.
Priscila was immediately excited when she learned about the opportunity to join the Alumni Advisory Committee. For her, the role represented more than just volunteering - it was a chance to reconnect with fellow alumni, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to a growing and evolving alumni community at Centennial College. She is especially passionate about helping alumni feel welcomed, valued, and proud to remain connected to the College long after graduation.
Her vision for the Committee is to help create an alumni community that reflects the diversity, energy, and future-forward spirit of Centennial College. Priscila hopes to help foster opportunities for alumni to reconnect, network, celebrate achievements, and share experiences with others who understand the unique journey of being a Centennial graduate. She believes the Committee can serve as an important bridge that brings alumni together while strengthening their connection to the College and one another.
Priscila’s educational experience in the Recreation and Leisure Services program helped shape both her career path and personal mission. Even before graduating, she knew she wanted to create spaces where people felt welcomed, connected, and supported. Her passion for working with international students eventually led her to her current role as Student Life Coordinator for Visiting International Students at Centennial College.
For the past 10 years, Priscila has had the privilege of welcoming students from around the world to both Centennial College and Canada. Through her work, she has helped countless students feel comfortable, included, and connected while building a vibrant sense of community on campus. This experience has reinforced her belief in the importance of human connection, cultural understanding, and creating environments where everyone feels they belong.
Priscila encourages current students and recent graduates to take chances, stay open to new experiences, and believe in themselves even before they feel fully ready. She believes confidence grows through experience and that kindness, authenticity, and strong interpersonal skills can open just as many doors as education and technical expertise.
For Priscila, staying connected to the alumni community is about more than networking - it is about belonging. She believes alumni connections create lifelong friendships, opportunities, support systems, and a lasting reminder that no matter where life takes you, you will always be part of the Centennial community.
