Safeguarding Your Research
Safeguarding research is a top priority of Centennial Innovates as Centennial’s applied research is increasingly connected to Canada's economic competitiveness, innovation, national security, and intellectual property and work directly with industry partners, government agencies, startups, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), making them attractive targets for theft of knowledge, cyberattacks, or inappropriate foreign influence.
We continue to work with government agencies and the college’s various departments to ensure research projects at Centennial are conducted in accordance with security requirements.
Resources will help Centennial’s researchers on safeguarding search:
- Safeguarding Your Research – Government of Canada
- National Security Guidelines for Research Partnerships
- Tri-agency guidance on the Policy on Sensitive Technology Research and Affiliations of Concern (STRAC).
- Research Security Guidelines for Ontario Research Funding Programs
