Established in 2023, the Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Department (HRCRD) provides training, centralized intake, assessment, advisory, systems navigation support, data collection, and dispute resolution services for the College including for students, employees and other members of the community. The mandate of this office includes harassment and discrimination under the Code and harassment unrelated to the Code. The mandate also includes matters amenable to conflict resolution or restorative justice services for disputes falling short of harassment and discrimination-based thresholds, but which nonetheless potentially raise relational issues impacting the working and learning culture of the College.

The HRCRD works collaboratively with partners including Labour Relations, Investigations, Emergency Management and Public Safety, the Student Experience Office, Academic leadership, Institutional Effectiveness, and other College areas as required and necessary to advance and ensure adherence to College harassment and discrimination policies and procedures and the law.
