As we take the month of February to reflect on the systemic and individual injustices faced by the diverse Black communities that are an important part of the fabric of our society, we at Centennial College are working diligently to help mitigate the unfair and oppressive ways that perpetrate anti-Black racism.
In order to honour and celebrate Black culture and people, Centennial College is proud to announce six (6) new scholarships to commemorate Black History Month.
Open to both international and domestic students, the Centennial College Black History Month Scholarships are valued at $1,000 each and will be awarded to students who meet the criteria below.
Scholarship criteria:

- Must demonstrate financial need
- Open to both international and domestic students
- Preference will be given to students who self-identify members of diverse Black communities
- Three (3) Domestic and three (3) International students will be awarded this scholarship
Four (4) scholarships will be awarded for the Winter 2021 term and two (2) scholarships will be awarded for the Summer 2021 term.
