- Students with a family size of two or more above $75,000
- Debt cap (capping the integrated loan amounts at $7,500 per term) no longer exists.

If you attend Centennial College:
- You will receive a higher portion of your provincial OSAP as loans.
- Provincial grants will be capped at 25 per cent of your total OSAP funding.
This means you may see fewer provincial grants and more provincial loans than in past years. Overall, a higher percentage of the funding will need to be paid back.
No. If you are receiving OSAP for 2025–26 or Spring/Summer 2026:
- Your funding stays the same.
- Your grants are not being converted into loans.
The new provincial rules apply only to study periods starting August 1, 2026, or later.
These provincial changes apply to students at:
- Publicly assisted colleges and universities (including Centennial College).
- Public and private institutions in Ontario.
Students attending career colleges will receive their provincial OSAP funding entirely as loans.
OSAP is based on financial need: Some students may receive more aid if tuition increases. Others may not see the full increase covered due to OSAP limits.
If you still have unmet educational costs, Centennial College may review your situation through the Student Access Guarantee.
When the 2026–27 OSAP application and aid estimator are available (in early Spring), you will be able to view an estimate of your provincial loans and grants. Plan ahead for your education costs.
