What’s the most interesting thing you’ve done professionally since leaving the School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design?
It's hard to choose but filming deep in an active gold mine was pretty interesting.
What’s your favourite memory from your time at the school?
The people and projects we created. My closest friends are graduates from the program.
How did your experience at the school shape your entrepreneurial goals?
The program gave me the space to create, make mistakes, and learn from them.
What advice can you offer students who have entrepreneurial dreams?
Don't burn your bridges.
What's the best piece of advice you received when starting your business?
It's about who you know.
In one sentence, what does the School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design mean to you?
A creative space to explore methods of storytelling and grow as a person.
How did you come up with the idea or concept for your business?
I've always enjoyed capturing moments through photo and video so it seemed natural to build a business around it.
What have the results of your business been?
Working at my own pace. Being my own boss. Getting paid doing what I love.
What's next for your business?
At the moment we're looking to more remote ways of storytelling such as virtual reality and live event streaming.
It's your call - tell us something interesting, cool, odd, unique etc. about you or your business.
I'm a sucker for yard sales and flea markets. You never know what sort of vintage lenses you'll find. I enjoy restoring and adapting them to modern photo/video equipment.
