No worries, as long as you applied to graduate you will still receive all communication regarding the ceremony and including access to claim your guest tickets. You do not need to change your selection, we know circumstances change.
Graduates have already paid for Convocation through ancillary fees. No additional payment is required.
No. We provide the gown (regalia) for your ceremony. You will have plenty of time to take photos either prior to or after your ceremony before you return the borrowed gown.
We suggest that you wear light weight clothing as it gets hot when wearing a gown. We also suggest comfortable shoes, as you will stand and walk more than you think will. Some graduates dress up in a suit, dress or fancy outfit and some graduates dress in a comfortable outfit. Overall we would say that most graduates wear something that celebrates them.
All Convocation Ceremonies will take place at our Progress Campus, 941 Progress Ave., in our Athletic and Wellness Centre. Progress campus is accessible by TTC and GO Transit. Parking will be complimentary for those attending Convocation.
Yes, please bring photo ID with you. Ideally your student card. But something with your name on it.
On your ceremony day we ask that all graduates arrive one hour prior to your ceremony beginning. This will allow you time to check in at Graduate Registration, pick up your gown and get organized for the Graduate Procession into your ceremony.
Guest seating begins approximately 30 mins prior to the ceremony starting. Guests should have their guest tickets with them either printed out or on their mobile device.
Guest Tickets
Each graduate, who applied to graduate, will receive an email in April 22 to their myCentennial email with details on how to claim their two guest tickets.
Additional tickets, if available, will be released at the beginning of June through to the ceremony day.
Unfortunately, we only have space to allow each graduate two guest tickets.
Additional tickets, if available, will be released at the beginning of June through to the ceremony day.
Graduates can log into the ticketing portal using their myCentennial email address to claim tickets.
Yes, everyone, regardless of age requires a ticket so that we maintain room capacity.
