First-semester Checklist

Before your semester starts, make sure you…

  1. Activate your myCentennial account.
  2. Log into Experience Centennial and explore headSTART
  3. Pay your fees online through myCentennial or by calling 416-289-5300.
  4. Complete your assessment test before classes start. Book your appointment online at Skills Assessment and complete your testing online.
  5. Build your timetable – Find out when registration opens
  6. Save the date and plan to attend your new student orientation. Connect with future classmates on the Experience Centennial Teams channel for new students.
  7. Register for the Peer Mentorship program. Connect with senior students who will help guide you through your first semester.
  8. Get your photo ID online through the myCard website.
  9. Attend your new student orientation in-person or online where you will have a chance to learn all about the amazing services and resources Centennial has to offer.
  10. Review your timetable on myCentennial to make sure you know the times and locations of your classes and labs.
  11. Purchase your textbooks online at our Bookstore website.
  12. Learn about your health and dental plan by visiting the CCSAI website (for Domestic students) or the guard.me Insurance page (for International students). 
  13. Explore the free tutoring services, workshops, and learning resources offered by The Learning Centre and English Tutoring Centre to help you ace your courses and improve your skills.
