Who We Are
The Queering Community Student Collective (QCSC) is a community space and support network for 2SLGBTQQIA+ (two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual) students and allies at Centennial College. The QCSC was created for 2SLGBTQQIA+ students and their allies to build community, learn, and engage with each other. This group recognizes the diversity within 2SLGBTQQIA+ communities and is committed to addressing all forms of social exclusion.
What We Do
The goal of the Queering Community Student Collective is to foster inclusivity, awareness, and friendships in a secure environment. We hold online and in-person meet-ups for students who may identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, two-spirit, queer/questioning, and their allies to connect in a safe environment and build community.
Meet-ups include lively discussions and an opportunity to form friendships with other like-minded students. Join us for game nights where you can participate in activities such as queer pop trivia. Movie nights include streaming films that celebrate the 2SLGBTQQIA+ experience. You’ll gain new insights and broaden your mind through our guest speakers. If you’re looking for any resources regarding health or support, the QCSC always has your back!
