The Queering Community Student Collective (QCSC) is a student community space for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and allies. We focus on connection, peer support, and campus community building.
You don’t need to be “out” to join. You're always welcome in the QCSC, no matter what part of 2SLGBTQQIA+ you identify with. Allies are welcome, but we ask that you be mindful and aware of your privilege and participation in Queer spaces.
Follow us on Instagram for updates and announcements. You can also join our Microsoft Teams Channel to connect and stay in the loop between events.
Our bi-weekly meet-ups allow Queer students on campus a safe space to socialize, get creative, and learn new skills. No sign in required - come meet your fellow peers or just hang out! Participate at whatever comfort level feels right.
Yes. We also host other campus events and collaborations, such as a silent auction and other community-building activities. Make sure to follow us on Instagram to stay up to date.
Yes. We welcome ideas from the community and encourage students to help shape the space. Your voice matters.
You can speak to us in person, or send an email with your ideas to QueeringCommunity@centennialcollege.ca.
We prioritize privacy and consent during the meeting. We don’t take photos by default, and we won’t post anything without clear consent.
We aim to keep the space respectful and supportive. Please respect names and pronouns, listen without judgment, avoid assumptions, and don’t share someone else’s story or identity.
No. QCSC is a community and peer-support space, but we can help point you to appropriate campus and community organizations if you’re looking for counselling or urgent support.
