The SEO is a centralized hub for the College community and complements the developmental advising approach of the Centennial Advising and Pathways (CAPS) service model. The SEO’s role in addressing conduct and complaint related issues will be achieved through a plethora of learning and skill development opportunities for both students and staff. The SEO will provide support (advice, consultations, case review, etc.) to College stakeholders.
The Student Experience Office (SEO) achieves our commitment to Make a Bigger Promise to students by providing case management services rooted in deep transformative approaches, based on best practices, that enhance student learning, student well-being, and student-community development.
Student Experience Advisors meet with students to:
- Assist with college system navigation
- Coordinate connections to the appropriate service/department to process complaints or address needs
- Foster self-efficacy and skill building through conduct management and conflict resolution processes
The Office also serves as the primary access point for referrals of students of concern and students at risk to the College’s multidisciplinary Case Management Team.

The mission of the SEO is to enhance the student experience by promoting clear and fair processes and to build (personal and system) capacity through the facilitation of growth and development opportunities for Centennial College students, staff and faculty.

What We Do
Build the capacity of College members to navigate policies and processes through learning and skill development opportunities; intervene in student incidents to repair harm; mediate conflict; and identify opportunities to innovate systems change.
Who We Support
- Students with concerns who are involved in complaint processes or conflict
- Students facing challenging and complex situations through case management services
- Faculty, staff and administrators, by providing consultation on student cases and training on issues that affect the student experience
