Jason Moseley

Career Development & Industry Connections Ambassador

Hospitality and Tourism Admin, 2004

Jason Moseley is a proud Centennial College alumnus whose career reflects the power of combining institutional leadership with entrepreneurship. With experience spanning higher education, event consulting, and real estate, Jason brings a unique perspective to the Alumni Advisory Committee - one rooted in innovation, strategic thinking, and community connection.

Currently balancing a senior leadership role at Toronto Metropolitan University alongside two successful private businesses, Jason was inspired to join the Committee as an opportunity to reconnect with the institution that helped shape his professional foundation. He is passionate about demonstrating to graduates that a college education can serve as a launchpad for dynamic, multi-faceted careers that blend corporate leadership with entrepreneurial ambition.

As a member of the Alumni Advisory Committee, Jason hopes to champion the idea of the “Entrepreneurial Alumnus.” He believes graduates should see themselves as brands, innovators, and business leaders regardless of their industry or career stage. Through his experience in real estate and event consulting, he aims to help foster a strong alumni network that values strategic partnerships, collaboration, and knowledge sharing while supporting graduates as they navigate today’s evolving professional landscape.

Jason credits Centennial College with providing the first real-world application of his event planning and management skills. His experiences as a student board member and later in a full-time role with the CCSAI taught him the foundations of leadership, large-scale operations, vendor management, and community engagement. Those early experiences continue to influence the way he leads institutional operations and manages his own businesses today.

One of the defining milestones in Jason’s career was successfully scaling both his real estate and event consulting ventures while overseeing senior institutional operations at TMU. This experience reinforced the importance of efficiency, risk management, relationship building, and maintaining a high standard of service across all industries.

His advice to students and recent graduates is to approach every opportunity with an ownership mindset. He encourages alumni to stay connected to the Centennial community early in their careers, emphasizing that classmates and fellow graduates often become future collaborators, mentors, clients, and business partners.

For Jason, staying connected to the alumni community strengthens the overall Centennial network while creating opportunities for shared learning, professional growth, and long-term success.
