Internal Governor Elections

The Centennial College Board of Governors congratulates its two newly-elected board members. They will begin their new terms on September 1, 2020.

Aslihan Kahraman, Global Business Management student in The Business School, was elected in March to serve a two-year term as Student Governor. Asli worked in Enrolment Services, Athletics & Recreation and the Project Management Centre. She served on the Student Leadership Conference Committee and as part of the Centennial International Student Ambassador program.

Juan-Paolo (JP) Lunaria was elected in March to serve a three-year term as the Support Staff Governor. JP is a Centennial graduate with over 10 years of experience working in admissions, recruitment, enrollment and financial services areas of the College.

Ontario College boards are required under the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Act, Reg. 34/03, to include internally-elected members from four specific constituencies – Students, Support Staff, Administrative and Academic Employees. Elections for Administrative Staff Governor are scheduled for the spring of 2021.
