As part of Centennial’s 7th Annual Pride Fundraiser, our Silent Auction starts on Monday, May 25 and runs until Monday, June 1. This year marks Centennial’s largest auction collection to date, featuring more than $40,000 in donated items and experiences.
We are thrilled to invite you to follow and bid on our curated collection of items donated by local Indigenous and Queer artists, businesses, vendors, community partners, employees, families, alumni, departments, and divisions across the College. The auction features a wide array of items, including jewelry, fashion apparel, home décor, prize baskets, new and refurbished technology, unique experiences and services, tickets to live performances, gift certificates, and much more.
Funds raised support the 2SLGBTQ+ Bursary, which was developed to help 2SLGBTQ+ students attend post-secondary studies. The bursary is available to full-time and part-time students, international or domestic, with no academic restrictions to apply. Each semester, the total amount raised is equally disbursed across the Fall and Winter semesters in $500 bursaries. The more we raise, the more students we can help. To date, we’ve raised $228,000 and helped over 450 students.
This year, the Centennial College Student Association Inc. (CCSAI) is also matching funds raised up to $20,000, helping every winning bid go even further in support of 2SLGBTQ+ students.
Items will also be displayed in person at the CCSAI Student Centre at Progress Campus during the June 1 Pride Fundraiser. To register for the Silent Auction from your smartphone, follow the steps below or see our Silent Auction Guide.
