Centennial College, and Downsview Aerospace Innovation and Research (DAIR) in partnership with the Ontario Aerospace Council (OAC) and the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development, is offering a government funded program of competency-based training to address skills shortages within the advanced manufacturing and Aerospace sector at no cost. The program requires ten hours per week commitment, in the evenings and weekends (Saturday). Courses involve hybrid online and/or in-person lectures and lab training.

Level 1
SAP ESSENTIALS Description
Students will acquire the necessary skills to be able to understand SAP requirements and functionality within the Aircraft Parts Manufacturing and Aircraft Assembly processes. Key components of the SAP Operating System are procurement, work order preparation and implementation, serialization of components, traceability and quality control.
Level 2
Receive training on state-of-the-art CNC programming, machining and commercial 3D printing operations, and assembly techniques, interpretation of work orders, blueprints, and the principles of additive manufacturing which is integrated with SAP functionality. This stream will provide a solid understanding of advanced manufacturing processes and principles used in the aerospace industry today. Learner have the opportunity to obtain a basic CNC Operator Digital Badge from: Sirco Machinery

Micro-Credential Description
The SAP Integrated Level 3, Stream A - Advanced Manufacturing & Production is a hybrid micro-credential that is building on the existing Stream A, Level 2 program. SAP Integrated Level 3, Stream A, will provide advanced skills in basic CNC programming, machine operation, assembly techniques, interpretation of work orders and blueprints and the principles of additive manufacturing, integrated with SAP. This course will provide upgrading skills and a solid understanding of advanced manufacturing processes and principles used today.
Level 3 builds upon the Level 2 program. Learners have the opportunity to obtain a basic CNC Operator Digital Badge from NIMS.

The SAP Integrated Level 2, Stream B, is the second step for the Technical Associate, as shown in the road map below. SAP Integrated Level 2, Stream B will provide skills in basic PLC programming, robotic operation, and assembly techniques used in various sectors of the Automation Industry. This stream will provide upgrading skills and a fundamental overview of Automation & Industry 4.0 processes and principles in emerging technologies.
