Toronto is a popular destination for international students, since Canada is one of the world’s most multicultural countries, and Toronto its most diverse city. Centennial College, located in Toronto, is recognized for its commitment to cultural diversity and support for international students. We take pride in welcoming international students to Canada, and helping them transition to life here. Our International Education Centres offer dedicated advisors to assist you, but that’s just the beginning of the many international student services and supports we offer.
1) With international offices across the world, we come to you.
While we have offices at all our campuses, that’s only going to help you after you arrive in Canada. Before that, we have branch offices across the globe where you can get the info you need to begin the application process. You can even explore the college without physically visiting by taking a virtual tour, or attending a Virtual Fair, where you can video chat online to get all the details you need.
2) BorderPass streamlines the admission process.
In 2024, the process of applying to a Canadian college as an international student has become more complex. To help, Centennial College and BorderPass have partnered up to simplify things. The platform shows you exactly what you need to do, helps you do it, and connects you with trusted immigration lawyers and legal services. Best of all, it’s available throughout the entirety of an international student’s time with the college, and an additional four months after graduation.
3) We help with the transition to education in Canada.
Our International Centres and satellite offices offer international student services to teach you about immigration, health insurance, and work-study information. And if you haven’t found housing accommodations in Toronto, we can set you up with international student housing options, whether staying at our Centennial Place residence, or looking for off-campus housing.
4) We’ll help you find your community in Canada.
It’s not just about handling the official matters–we’re here to help you transition to life in Canada, too. Centennial College’s international department hosts cultural events year-round at each campus. Once you get set up with an email account from the college, we'll let you know when they’re happening. You’ll see flyers across all campuses, and we’ll post upcoming activities on the College’s events calendar and on official social media accounts.
5) We’ll support you after you graduate, too.
Even after you graduate, the International Centre and Career Services continue to be valuable resources. We want you to succeed and become ambassadors of the college, whether that means pursuing a career in your field, continuing your studies, or exploring international student work. All you have to do is contact an International Office, and we’ll help you along the road to success.
