| Description | In this course students will learn body anatomy, the muscular system, lymphatic, and circulatory as it relates to body treatments and contra-indications. Different types and levels of body treatments are taught as well as principles and protocols. Concepts of hydrotherapy and aromatherapy are taught as well. Areas of focus will be on client’s health and esthetic concerns. Creating a customized selection of treatments to accommodate for specific client needs will be explored. Students will learn to set up for and perform treatments for variety of purposes. Sanitation and personal protection are an integral component of this course. In this course students will master the skills necessary to perform all the body treatments offered in today’s spas. Prerequisites
