Faculty and Staff Regalia - Academic Hoods
Faculty and Staff who are on stage or participating in the procession to congratulate graduates are required to wear a black gown. As this is a celebration of academic achievement it is appropriate to don your academic regalia.
Should you require having your academic regalia rented please submit a request for academic regalia. This information is required by May 5, 2025. Questions can be directed to the Convocation Department at convocation@centennialcollege.ca.
Staff and Faculty Volunteers
Each year we reach out to staff across the college to assist with providing our graduates with a wonderful celebration of their achievements during Convocation. Each ceremony we have around 100 volunteers helping with all aspects of the ceremony. College staff and faculty who are interested in assisting during Convocation can contact the Convocation Department at convocation@centennialcollege.ca.
Celebrate the Graduation of Your Family Member at Convocation 2025
Continuing in the Centennial College Convocation tradition, College staff and faculty are invited to help celebrate the graduation of their own family member, by assisting with the presentation of the graduate's certificate, diploma, or degree on stage. This initiative will highlight and acknowledge the family contributions supporting a student's success.
To coordinate this effort, we kindly ask staff and faculty who are interested in participating complete this form online by Friday, May 30, 2025. Questions can be directed to the Convocation Department at convocation@centennialcollege.ca.
