What is Engagement Week?
Engagement Week serves as a component of Centennial’s ongoing commitment to supporting student success. Engagement Week (Reading Week) offers students an opportunity to participate in virtual and in-person events that include personal development sessions, skill building programs and social gatherings. We invite you to take this week to do what you need to recharge, catch up, reconnect or take a break!
What can we expect from Engagement Week?
For the Winter 2026 Engagement Week, there will be both indoor and outdoor activities that allow you to take full advantage of the winter time in Toronto and the surrounding area. Please check the Engagement Week page for updates about events and registrations.

Kick off the week with something wild! Join Transitions and Student Life for a fun day at the Toronto Zoo. Your free weekday admission membership will be activated and sent to your myCentennial email in advance. If you haven’t activated your membership yet, please register for it now. On March 2, simply arrive at the zoo (2000 Meadowvale Rd, Toronto, ON M1B 5K7) and present your digital membership at the front gate. Please bring your myCard, as it’s required to confirm your ticket. Staff will be on-site to assist with membership activation if needed.
This offer is available to registered full-time Centennial College students. Your membership will be valid until April 30, 2026 and linked to your myCentennial email. Friends and family are welcome to join and can receive 50% off admission using promo code 50centennial. Purchase their tickets at the official Toronto Zoo website.

Dive into Tuesday, no snorkel required! Join Transitions and Student Life for a visit to Ripley’s Aquarium. Please arrive at the front entrance (288 Bremner Blvd., Toronto) at 9:30 AM. Bring your myCard, as it’s required for entry, and check in with Student Life staff to receive your ticket.
Come meet fellow Centennial students, make new friends, and explore the underwater world! Please plan ahead for lunch, you’re welcome to bring your own or purchase food on-site.
Optional Add-On: Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) offers free admission on Tuesdays for full-time post-secondary students in Canada (permanent galleries only). Just present your student ID at the admissions desk, valid all day.

Midweek mini adventure, travel across Canada in an afternoon! Join Transitions and Student Life for a visit to Little Canada. Please arrive at the front entrance (10 Dundas St E., Toronto) at 1:00 PM. Bring your myCard, as it’s required for entry, and check in with Student Life staff to receive your ticket.
