With the heightened focus on cybersecurity incidents around the world, the College is more committed than ever to ensuring that cybersecurity is a top priority for the Centennial College community. The CAPE program is an initiative aimed at ensuring Centennial students, faculty and staff have the skills and knowledge they need to help secure both their own and the institution's valuable data.  Research shows that 95 per cent of all breaches are the result of humans being taken advantage of (particularly through phishing).  CAPE builds on IT Services' (ITS) cybersecurity strategy of mock phishing campaigns, awareness training and presentations to teach us all how to recognize and avoid cyberattacks.

Cybersecurity awareness is about fostering security consciousness in our digital existence. This site provides resources that you can use and simple steps you can take to protect yourself online.  We all have a shared responsibility to practice safe online habits at home, in the workplace, or in our communities. Do your part and be cyber smart.
