What is your ecological footprint? We are DYING to know! Through this challenge you will learn what an ecological footprint is, what yours is, and ways you can reduce it!
- Calculate your ecological footprint to find out how ghoulish it is: https://www.footprintcalculator.org/home/en
- Hop on your broom stick! Show us how you get around without a car. For this challenge, take a picture of how you get around. This can include walking, biking, carpooling or even taking the TTC. Snap a photo and share it on social media using #CCSustainability.
- As you will find, what you eat can increase your ecological footprint. Try cooking a vegetarian meal and snap of photo of your dish using #CCSustainability to inspire our college community to cook up something spooktacular.
- Show us how you upcycled your Halloween costume. For this challenge, find cheap or free items for upcycling. Visit your local thrift store or search through your own closet and drawers for items that could be repurposed into something new. Ask your family and friends for older costumes instead of buying new ones! Post your creation on social media using #CCSustainability.
